Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Insurance and Economic Development from the University of South Carolina in 1987, Rob began his insurance career with State Farm Insurance. Since then, he has served in many capacities in three other insurance companies.
Rob is managing partner for the North and South Carolina operations of IOA, Member of IOA’s Advisory Council 2005-2007, Chaired Advisory Council 2007, and appointed to the Board of Directors January 1st, 2008. He was awarded IOA Agent of the Year 2007 and Millionaire Revenue Club Agent 2006 and 2007. In addition, the Columbia branch was awarded IOA Small Branch of the Year 2005 and 2006.
Rob received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1994 and is currently pursuing his Commercial Risk Management designation. He is actively involved with his church, community, charitable organizations, social and governmental agendas and is the managing partner of Oak Development Company, LLC, Post Oak Development, LLC and Charlex Holdings, LLC.
